Add a delicious smoky flavor and golden color to this year’s holiday turkey with our Spanish paprika and Hickory Smoked Sea Salt.
Ingredients:
3 Tbs. (Hot) Picante Paprika from Spain or (Sweet) Dulce Paprika from Spain
2 tsp. onion powder
3 tsp. C&C Hickory Smoked Sea Salt
2 tsp. ground black pepper
4 tsp. granulated sugar
2 tsp. thyme
2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. yellow ground mustard
1/3 cup of C&C Hojiblanca Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 whole turkey
Preparation:
In a small bowl, mix all ingredients except the olive oil. Wash and prepare turkey according to instructions on package.
Place turkey, breast side up, on roasting rack in a roasting pan. Sprinkle about 1 tablespoon of the rub mixture inside the turkey. Stuff turkey, if desired, with your favorite stuffing.
Brush turkey all over with extra virgin olive oil. Spread remaining rub mixture all over the surface and under the skin of the turkey.
