White Balsamic Vinegars

White balsamic vinegars are like traditional dark balsamic vinegars, only they are made with white wine vinegar and grape must (fresh pressed juice with seeds and skins) and they are not aged in the wooden barrels which impart a distinct dark color to dark balsamics. White balsamic vinegars are milder and less sweet than regular dark balsamic vinegars and are often considered more suitable for use with salad dressings, since they do not have a strong flavor that can be overpowering when used on salad greens.
Note: Our 60 ml. sample bottles are clear and not dark green like our 200 ml and 500 ml. sizes

Restaurant chefs use white balsamic vinegars not only for their milder flavor, but also because they won’t turn a salad dressing or sauce brown the way the regular dark balsamic will.
