1 pt. (about 2 cups) strawberries, cut in quarters
2 Tbs. granulated sugar
1 Tbs. unsalted butter
4 Tbs. C&C Strawberry Balsamic Vinegar
1/2 tsp. cornstarch
Pinch of coarse salt

Stir strawberries, sugar, butter, balsamic vinegar, cornstarch, and salt in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Bring mixture to a low boil. Reduce heat; simmer, stirring often, until berries begin to break down and release their juices, about 8 to 10 minutes. Set aside and allow to cool. Spoon over a slice of plain cheesecake and serve.
